EATHOS
A few minutes walk from Stephen's Green, Eathos is a cute little spot for lunch or Saturday brunch. With a good combination of healthy and not-so-healthy treats, they cater for everyone, with a bonus of a full takeout menu.
Brunch on a Saturday is served from 8.30am to 4.30pm. We got a selection of 3 brunch dishes; sweet potato rosti with poached eggs, an acai smoothie bowl and French toast.
The eggs, although a bit overpriced at €14.50, were the best egg dish we've tried in Dublin.
The acai smoothie bowl was definitely more appealing in sight than in taste. It was probably the most photogenic dish on offer, but at the end of the day it's really just a smoothie in a bowl. If you're looking for something light and refreshing then we would definitely recommend.
Lastly, the brioche French toast tasted great. It was served with cinnamon and lemon creme fraiche, the creme fraiche really adding to the flavour!
If you're looking for a special brunch, as you'd probably be paying €15 per person including a drink, Eathos is definitely the place to go. With a gorgeous outdoor covered seating area and really well presented dishes, not forgetting the amazing desserts you won't be disappointed!
